Australian fans of British band Oasis have gone wild after a new reunion tour by the iconic British rock duo was confirmed.
After weeks of mounting speculation, Manchester brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have finally ended their 15-year feud to announce they will be performing together again, 34 years after their first concert.
The brothers, who split in 2009 after a backstage row, have sensationally confirmed that Oasis have reunited for a mammoth UK and Ireland tour.
But shortly after the band made their announcement, fans flocked to X to beg the duo to add Australia to their tour.
“Fuck I LOVE YOU!” wrote one excited fan. “Your biggest fans are in Australia bro. We’ll see you in Sydney and Melbourne.”
“Are you big lads coming to Australia?” asked another enthusiastic Oasis fan.
“I really hope they record a new album and come to Australia for a tour,” another person wrote.
‘Australia! Please, please come to Australia!’ insisted another X user.

After weeks of mounting speculation, Manchester brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have finally ended their 15-year feud to announce they will be performing together again.
Another pleaded: “Please come back to Australia,” while another added: “I hope they bring the party back to Australia.”
The 14-show UK and Ireland tour will run from July 4 to August 17, kicking off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium before the brothers fill Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley in London, Murrayfield in Edinburgh and Croke Park in Dublin.
Despite speculation that Oasis will be on the Glastonbury 2025 bill, it is understood the band will not be performing at Worthy Farm.
But shortly after the band made their announcement, fans flocked to X to beg the duo to add Australia to their tour.
However, plans are afoot for Oasis to reach other continents outside Europe by the end of next year.
Announcing the Oasis Live 25 tour alongside the first photo of the brothers together in years, the legendary band said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come and see it. It won’t be televised.”
The Oasis website crashed immediately after the announcement and fans went into a frenzy.
The reunion comes one day before the band split on August 28, 2009.

Tickets to see the Don’t Look Back In Anger hitmakers go on sale in the UK from 9am on August 31, while tickets in Dublin will be available from 8am on the same day.
Oasis fans have hailed it as “the ticket bloodbath of the century” and have vowed to “go to war” to get their hands on them.
Others have been outraged and believe it will be a complete ‘free sale’ as there don’t appear to be any pre-sale links and it’s just a big general sale.
The brothers are understood to have buried the hatchet during a late-night phone call to embark on a £50million reunion tour.
Fans of the Manchester rock band have been calling for the brothers to reunite since they split up in 2009, prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
The Oasis website crashed immediately after the announcement and fans went into a frenzy.
Their last concert together was at the V Festival in Weston Park, Staffordshire, in August 2009.
Days later, they cancelled the main concert at the Rock en Seine festival following the argument.
Noel explained at the time: “It is with some sadness and great relief that I am leaving Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they want, but I simply could not continue working with Liam for another day.”
In recent years, Liam has been keen to make amends with his brother and reform the iconic Britpop band, but his older brother has thrown cold water on the idea.
But following Noel’s £20million divorce from ex-wife Sara MacDonald last year, the elder Gallagher is said to have become convinced of the financial merits of getting the band back together.
