According to industry experts, Aussie Shore has surprised viewers so much that there are concerns it could be pulled from Paramount+.
However, Paul Dyer couldn’t be prouder of his daughter Lexi, who is at the center of the show’s daring action.
The former Big Brother Australia housemate is delighted her youngest son is starring on the show, branding her critics “woke” and telling them to “back off”.
“I’m very proud of my daughter and the person she is on the show,” Paul told Daily Mail Australia.
“I think it’s fantastic: I’m entertained and I know my fans are too.”
With over 190,000 followers on TikTok, where he is affectionately known as #AUSSIECHICKENDAD, Paul is no stranger to controversy and often suffers backlash for his wild videos.
“I always believed, even in my day, that for every person who hates you, there are a hundred who probably love you,” he said.

‘You have to wonder what kind of people have problems with a show they would never watch. Don’t you have Home and Away or something else you like better?
While some viewers have been outraged and accused the show of being too explicit for Australian screens, Paul believes those so-called critics haven’t even bothered to watch it.
“I highly doubt these stuck-up guys watched a second of the show to know what they’re talking about,” he said defiantly.
Far from shying away from debate, Paul has embraced public conversation around the show.

Paul admitted that not everyone in his family is tuning in to watch Lexi’s adventures on Aussie Shore.
‘I had the conversation with my own parents and they told me they wouldn’t be watching. They also chose not to watch my TikTok in the past. “That’s their choice and it’s everyone’s right: to watch Aussie Shore or not,” he said.
While some Aussie Shore viewers were outraged and accused the show of being too explicit for Australian screens.
Aussie Shore is the latest version of the hit Jersey and Geordie Shore franchises made famous in the US and UK, with several episodes already aired.
The show began with some of the most graphic scenes seen in television history Down Under.
In the first episode, two of the 11 housemates, flown in from across the country, urinated on each other while drinking and partying in the pool.
