A search has started for a missing student from Atlanta who disappeared from her apartment on campus six days ago.
Alexis Crawford, 21, is a senior at Clark Atlanta University and was last seen by her roommate on October 30 after the two went to a nearby liquor store to buy alcohol.
After Alexis, originally from Athens, did not attend class or work for two days, her family reported missing, the police announced on Monday.
Her mother Tammy Crawford said she last spoke to Alexis on Wednesday, October 30 and that she seemed & cheerful and laughed & # 39; during the conversation.

The police did not elaborate on the details of that incident, but her friends say that she has slept in the living room ever since.
The next morning she discovered that Alexis was not at home when she went to class. The front door was locked and Alexis was not in the living room or bedroom.
