Now back in the UK, Ashley has reportedly spent thousands on a security dog for his family after he and his fiancé were held with a knife by robbers who broke into their home.

Ashley’s mansion in Surrey was broken into by masked robbers in January 2020, with a jury playing a chilling 999 call from Sharon, begging for police help to stop the break-in.
The former footballer’s first marriage, to pop star Cheryl Tweedy, ended just two years after their lavish wedding ceremony in 2006 due to claims of multiple infidelities with other women.
