Ariana Madix set to take over hosting duties on Love Island USA – as ex-host Sarah Hyland reveals she found out via a TEXT message: ‘I’m disappointed the news had to break this way’

Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix will take over hosting duties from Sarah Hyland as host of Love Island USA, according to TMZ.

Sarah, 33, later confirmed that she will be leaving her hosting position, which she has held for the past two seasons, due to a new opportunity she is interested in pursuing.

Sarah’s new opportunity would be filming at the same time as Love Island USA, which meant she couldn’t do both.

However, the actress revealed her “disappointment” over the news in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

“Well, I just got a text message,” he began, implying that he found out through a text message. “I’m disappointed that the news has come this way, but the truth is that I won’t be returning to the island this summer.”

‘I have committed to an exciting project, to be announced soon, that directly conflicts with the filming dates of LOVE ISLAND USA. While I’m sad I won’t be able to return, I hope to see a lot of love this summer on Peacock in the next season! she concluded.

The media noted that the agreement has not yet been signed.

Ariana, 38, is a big fan of the show and appeared in a cameo in the show’s fifth season.

Sarah, who starred on Modern Family, hosted the reality show for seasons four and five, after replacing Arielle Vandenberg, who hosted the show for seasons one, two and three.

The show moved from CBS to Peacock, beginning with the fourth season.

The show has not yet started filming the sixth season.

The media reported that the official announcement will be released soon.

The news comes after Ariana’s Broadway debut in Chicago, in the role of Roxie Hart.

She announced her role in December and played Roxie for eight weeks starting in late January.

Her Broadway run was extended, with the star playing Roxie from March 24 to April 7.

Ariana became a household name on Vanderpump Rules, with the biggest season covering the fallout from her now ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s cheating scandal.

He appeared on season 32 of Dancing With The Stars and published a cocktail book called Single AF Cocktails, which became a New York Times bestseller.

Sarah recently enjoyed a trip to Disneyland with her best friend Vanessa Hudgens, who announced her pregnancy on the Oscars red carpet in mid-March.
