Apple was among about 20 young women who were introduced at the prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes held at the Shangri-La Hotel, which costs $1,000 a night.
And while the debutantes take center stage, each is paired with a ‘gentleman’, who are often young men from equally distinguished backgrounds, to make their grand entrance at the ball.
