Antonio Brown hinted that he is trying to make peace with Tom Brady after his online attacks

Antonio Brown has hinted that he is trying to make amends with Tom Brady following his online attacks on his former teammate.

The former wide receiver, who won a Super Bowl with Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has frequently launched a series of attacks on his former teammate, blaming him for the end of his NFL career.

Brown has used Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, and manipulated photographs of the supermodel as a means to antagonize the former quarterback.

However, the controversial sports personality has claimed that he has begun to make peace with the seven-time Super Bowl winner, suggesting that his feud with Brady is over.

“I think I talked to him two weeks ago,” Brown revealed in Jason Whitlock’s ‘Fearless’ Podcast.

‘I think it’s turning out great. I think as men you realize that we all make mistakes and as people we all go through things and we just try to get through them. I think that as men we grow.’

The former catcher also admitted that he made a mistake regarding his online rants.

“I may not have done things right on my part regarding the trauma I felt,” he added. ‘I feel like he feels the same way about the things he did. That’s part of being human. We both have to be men and admit our mistakes.

‘A lot of things I did online could have been handled much better. I don’t want to go back and bring up the past, but I feel like as a man you know in your heart when you’re right with God about the things he could have done better.’

Brown has a controversial history on social media with NFL legend and his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen previously finding themselves in his line of fire.

The Internet provocateur has frequently used the Brazilian model as a means to attack his former partner.

Brown became angry with Brady over his divorce from Gisele in 2022. He frequently posted photoshopped photos, suggesting that he is having a romantic relationship with Brady’s ex.

Brady had encouraged the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to acquire the embattled Brown in 2020 amid sexual assault and harassment allegations, which he has since resolved out of court. He even allowed Brown to stay with him in preparation for the season.

Brown has also edited his own face into photos of Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen hugging.

A year earlier, Brady had pushed for the New England Patriots to hire Brown, only to have the team cut him after one game when the sexual misconduct allegation first surfaced.

But Brown has attacked his former teammate and the embattled star continually blames Brady for the end of his career.

The conversation with Whitlock then turned political: Brown endorsed Donald Trump over President Joe Biden, before suggesting that Brady’s own political alliance fell with the Republican candidate.

“I talked to him on the phone with Brady once,” Brown said when the host asked if he had ever met the Republican candidate.

‘Do you think Brady likes Trump but can’t admit it?’ Whitlock asked. To which, Brown vehemently agreed, replying, “Yes, definitely.”

Trump himself previously highlighted his connection to the former quarterback, hailing him as a “great guy” and boasting of his endorsement shortly before his election in 2016.

Brady has also addressed his relationship with the former president in the past, speaking about their friendship in a 2015 interview with WEEI.

The former wide receiver also suggested that Brady supports former President Donald Trump.

‘Donald is a good friend of mine. I’ve known him for a long time. I support all my friends. That’s what I have to say. He is a good friend of mine. “He has always supported me a lot.”

While Brown suggested Brady was limited in expressing his political stance, he had no problem expressing his own.

“No, I like Donald Trump,” he said. ‘I saw Joe Biden online. He was shitting himself and falling. I say, what’s going on with him?

“I want the world to be a better place and I feel like we can probably do better if Trump helps more businesses and comes back and takes office in 2024.”
