Anthony Martial has reportedly agreed a record deal with a European club.
The striker has been a free agent since leaving Manchester United when his contract expired following a nine-year stint at Old Trafford.
He has been linked with numerous clubs, including Brazil’s Flamengo, but is reportedly on the verge of signing a deal closer to home.
Greek exit SPORT24 reports that he is exchanging final documents with AEK Athens for a three-year contract, while the Spaniard Relief He states that he has verbally agreed to a move.
Martial could earn £2.5m a season at AEK and the deal would have been announced on Monday evening if not for a delay, according to SPORT24.
Anthony Martial is reportedly close to sealing a three-year contract with AEK Athens.
The contract will be worth £2.5m per season, the most lucrative in AEK’s history.
That deal, worth a total of £7.5m including bonuses, would be the biggest contract in AEK’s history.
