Angelina Jolie believes that with age she gets more and more quality work.
The actress, 49, who plays opera singer Maria Callas in her new film Maria, revealed that, unlike the late singer, she does not believe her power is diminishing with age.
“I have better jobs as I get older,” the mother of six told Sunday weather in a new interview.
“I don’t think about it in terms of the roles offered, but in terms of the life experience you bring,” said Jolie, who also gushed about her children in the interview.
And he added: “It’s easier for actors than for singers or dancers because your body doesn’t change.”
While she disagreed with Callas’s fear of aging, Jolie admired her “commitment” to the job.

“I’m a hard worker,” she shared. And a person with deep feelings. Mary is vulnerable because she feels and is sometimes unable to protect herself from loneliness or emotional pain. Because it’s part of her life and her job to be extremely human and live that way.’
‘It is lived through communication with the public. For Maria and me this has always been extremely important.’
Early in her career, Jolie was a method actress.
During the filming of Gia (1998), she immersed herself so deeply in the role of a drug-addicted supermodel that she told her then-husband, Jonny Lee Miller, that she couldn’t call him from the set.
This intense commitment led her to briefly retire from acting, as she felt she had “nothing more to give.”
He adds: ‘As a young actor, you say yes to everything. Do you know how to ride a horse? Can you speak this language? So you have to learn.’
Jolie’s career includes an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 1999 film ‘Girl, Interrupted.’
She became an international star with her portrayal of Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider film series in 2001 and 2003.

In August, the biopic premiered for the first time during the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Lion.
The film had a limited release in the United States starting November 27 and will hit Netflix on December 11.
The film’s premise is: ‘Maria Callas, the world’s greatest opera singer, lives the last days of her life in 1970s Paris, as she confronts her identity and her life,’ according to an IMDB synopsis.
Elsewhere in the interview she shared that, unlike Callas, she is not a lonely person thanks to her large family.
‘I don’t feel that way because I have a family. Maria had no family, so her job was everything. My job is not everything. Being a father is everything.’
The Maleficent actress, who has sparked Oscar buzz for her portrayal of Callas in the biopic, shares Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, as well as twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, with her ex-husband Brad. Pitt, 60 years old.

Her ex-husband Brad Pitt is noticeably estranged from their children, and a source recently shared that the children haven’t spent “a lot of time” with their parents for over five years; Brad and Angelina seen with Pitt’s parents, Bill and Jane, in 2008 in Los Angeles.
The couple married in 2014, but filed for divorce in 2016 before being declared legally single in 2019.

“The children send cards and gifts to their grandparents every year for their birthdays and Christmas,” the source explained to the outlet.
