On Monday, the comedian invited a film crew to document some of the hard work being done on the property.
Andy kept it casual for the work afternoon, wearing a white shirt paired with jeans.
He wore a pair of sturdy work boots and a cap, and could be seen going in and out of the house during the day.

“I checked to see if there was any treasure hidden in the ceiling today,” he wrote alongside an image of himself climbing a ladder.
‘If you consider the pigeon poop treasure, there were a lot of treasures!! VERY MUCH!!’ Andy added, showing his fans the piles of manure.
Located in Hawthorn, the once grand house sat in ruins for a decade before Andy, 42, and his long-term girlfriend Rebecca Harding, 31, bought it for a whopping $8.5 million.
And to celebrate their elaborate plans for the 150-year-old property, Andy and Rebecca hosted a Christmas party for their neighbors last week.
The host of the Hundred told the Herald of the sun who decided to start work on the mansion next year after part of the remaining roof fell off.
Andy explained the reasons why the couple decided to celebrate Christmas at the mansion which is in a prime location overlooking the Yarra River.

Andy, 42, and his long-term girlfriend, Rebecca Harding, 31, bought it for a whopping $8.5 million.
“We said, ‘You’ve looked at this place for 30 years in this (dilapidated) state, so if you’ve never been there, come see it.'” It will be your last chance to see it in this state before they evict the possums, the rats and the pigeons,” he said.
“I’m worried that they (possums, rats and pigeons) might have squatters’ rights since they’ve been there so long.”
He added that he warned guests that the house currently has no running water, electricity or toilets.
Images uploaded to Andy’s social media show that the huge two-story property is in an advanced state of disrepair.

Other highlights planned for the 1,950-square-meter holding company include a home cinema, a gym, a swimming pool and a ‘mega bedroom’.
In a statement to the Herald Sun, Boroondara Council confirmed it had issued a decision notice to grant planning permission for the Yarra Grove address.
