Jorgie Porter has revealed the unique name of her second child with fiancé Oliver Piotrowski.

In a new interview, Jorgie, who is also mother to her two-year-old son, Forest, and co-parent to her fiancé Oliver’s 10-year-old son Alfie, opened up about her work experience.
The soap star revealed that Peony was born via planned caesarean section and weighed an impressive 8lb 14oz.
Reflecting on her decision to opt for another C-section, Jorgie said OK! Magazine: “When the nurses took her out, I thought, ‘Thank God I picked a section because there was no way I could have had it naturally.’
Both Jorgie and her daughter were discharged a day later and were able to return home.

When asked about the inspiration behind her unique name, Jorgie shared: “We hadn’t heard of anyone by the name Peony and I love the flowers, they’re so beautiful,” she smiles.
‘But we were literally desperate to tell people his name before someone had a baby and chose him over us! We didn’t give her a middle name because she’s Peony Porter Piotrowski, which is a lot to say for a kid, right?
It comes after Jorgie confirmed the birth of her second child on Instagram.
Sharing a photo of the newborn’s tiny hand, Jorgie captioned the post with a special tribute to her nurse, writing: ‘She’s here…! We are complete.
“Thank you to everyone at Wigan Hospital, especially @sandi_goulding who is our everything… couldn’t have asked for a better day.”
Jorgie’s happy news comes three years after she suffered a devastating miscarriage while pregnant with quadruplets.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline before the birth, Jorgie admitted it had felt like a long pregnancy, adding that the second time around wasn’t any better.
‘My belly has stretched a lot more. I feel like I’ve been pregnant for 54 years!’ she said.

Speaking about expanding her family, Jorgie said: “I think it’s good because we don’t have a lot of family so we want to create a big family unit.”

Jorgie confirmed her pregnancy on an episode of ITVBe’s Drama Queens in May, revealing that she and Ollie were due to become parents again.

Jorgie, who tragically lost her quadruplets at 14 weeks back in 2021, also took to Instagram to share a baby scan video featuring her little one and her dog, captioning it: “We’ve been keeping a little secret.”
