Rana Reider has reportedly been banned from the 2024 Paris Olympics after three women accused him of sexual and emotional abuse.
Reider coaches both Andre De Grasse, the reigning Canadian Olympic 200-meter champion, and Lamont Marcell Jacobs, the Italian who won 100-meter gold in Tokyo.
But according to The timesCanada’s National Olympic Committee will revoke Reider’s access to the Games after three women filed lawsuits against him in Florida.
After the court cases came to light, USA Track & Field reportedly alerted its Canadian counterpart over the weekend.
Now, The Times reports, Canadian Olympic chiefs – who initially provided Reider with credentials in Paris – have informed the coach that his pass will be withdrawn.
