The decomposing remains of a missing man have been discovered on the side of a remote outback road.
The man’s body was found on the side of the Stuart Highway, about 25km north of Devils Marbles in the Northern Territory, shortly before 2pm on Wednesday.
Police believe the man may have died after falling from a vehicle. NT News reported.

“The man has not yet been formally identified, but he is believed to be a man aged around 30, missing and last seen by his family on Thursday evening,” said Sergeant -lead detective Brendan Lindner.
“The body was in an advanced state of decomposition, probably lying near the road for five days.”
Investigations continue.
