The presenter, 52, also posted several Instagram snaps with her two lookalike daughters, Lexi, 18, and Hollie, 12, calling being a mum ‘the greatest privilege’.

In her plethora of snaps, Amanda remembered her stillborn son with a black-and-white snap of his footprints, acknowledging the day’s grief for many.

Theo was tragically stillborn at seven months in 2011 and Amanda has previously spoken about her experience in a bid to help other parents who may be struggling.

Back in 2011, Amanda was seven months pregnant with Theo when a routine scan showed his heart had stopped.

The TV star and her husband Chris Hughes, who married in 2008, then made the devastating decision to have a caesarean after Theo’s passing.

As well as sharing a photo of Leo’s footprints when he was a baby, Amanda praised her own mum Judith in a gushing snap.

She wrote: ‘Being a mother is the greatest privilege of my life. Still having my mom is wonderful.

‘I know that today can be difficult for so many. Behind every family there is always a story of love and loss…

‘Today I will make the most of it all and hopefully have breakfast in bed’.

In September 2022, Amanda revealed she was made to feel like a ‘game show contestant’ when a doctor told her she ‘went home empty-handed’ after her stillbirth.

The presenter worked with baby loss charity Aching Arms and raised money for them as part of fundraising for her 3 Peaks Challenge.

Speaking to Ross Sullivan – a user of Aching Arms – on her Heart Breakfast show, Amanda spoke of her ‘terrible’ experience and spoke of her hope that the charity helps people ‘avoid’ the kind of language that was spent with her.

She said: ‘I will never forget when I went through something that I could imagine is very similar to your (experience).

‘We lost our baby Theo at 28 weeks and they very sensitively moved me into another room so I could deliver him without having to hear the lovely babies screaming in a normal ward.

‘Often you don’t think about it, it’s little things like that. I remember the lady afterwards also when we went for a chat also said ‘I know you’re going home empty handed’ she said to me.

‘So I felt like a sort of game show contestant, so it’s all the language that I know this charity will help people avoid and educate them on how best to deal with something so horrible. It’s just terrible’.

Amanda also previously discussed Theo’s loss on her radio show while marking Nurses Day, saying: ‘I would personally love to thank the nurses.

‘I know I talk about this a lot. And I never know if I talk about it too much. But of course when we lost our son Theo to a stillbirth, the hospital where I was cared for was incredible.

‘Jacki Nash got me through so much, Pippa Nightingale and Natalie Carter.’
