Amanda Bynes ‘will be wearing wigs now’ after her hair ‘grew so strangely’ in recent months

Amanda Bynes revealed that she was “going to start wearing wigs now” in a video shared to her Instagram Story on Thursday.

The 37-year-old actress donned a blonde and red hairpiece while filming her clip, in which she revealed her hair had been “growing very strangely” in recent months.

The Nickelodeon alum, who was recently spotted during a shopping trip in Beverly Hills, added that she “absolutely hated” watching her hair grow after getting a haircut late last year.

Bynes shared a second clip of her story on Friday afternoon, in which she is seen wearing a blonde and blue wig.

The What I Like About You actress later told her fans that she felt her second hairpiece was “really cute.”

The retired artist debuted a bold haircut while walking in Los Angeles in December of last year.

Bynes continued to give her fans glimpses of her new look by sharing several photos and videos on her Instagram Story over the following weeks.

The entertainment industry figure has not appeared in a filmed project since 2010, and was previously focused on producing her podcast, titled Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast.

The retired actress’ first episode of the show premiered in December of last year, during which she, as well as her co-host, interviewed tattoo artist Dahlia Moth.

However, Bynes revealed that she had chosen to give up her career in podcasting and study to be a manicurist by sharing a post to her Instagram Story that same month.

The Easy A actress wrote via Entertainment tonight that, instead of continuing with his project, he wanted to “have a consistent job.”

The retired artist also told her fans that her decision to close the podcast was not motivated by negative public reaction.

‘The first episode of my podcast did very well. In fact, I was surprised and of course I was going to go ahead with it after my friends encouraged me to do so,” she wrote.

Bynes went on to thank her fans for “following my journey” at the end of her message.

He later announced that he intended to revive the podcast in a video that was shared on his TikTok account and revealed that he was having trouble booking high-profile guests.

However, no new episodes of Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast have been released so far.
