A popular brewery has announced it is closing its doors for good in the latest in a series of craft breweries entering voluntary administration.
Alchemy Brewing Co announced on Monday it would close its store on Lygon Street in Melbourne’s East Brunswick on Friday.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Alchemy Brewing will be closing at the end of the month,” owner Pim Muter wrote in an Instagram post.
Muter explained that it had been a “difficult journey” and that it was “time to call it quits.”
Clients have been invited to a farewell party to be held on Saturday.
