Dessert king Adriano Zumbo launches new ice cream flavors with an Aussie twist – including salted caramel lamington and Wagon Wheels-inspired gelato

Dessert king Adriano Zumbo has created three new ice cream flavors with an Australian twist: the lamington, the Iced VoVo and the dairy-style Wagon Wheel.
Diners can find his new Aussie Classics range in cups or cones for a limited time at all Gelatissimo stores across the country.
The three limited edition flavors are: Chocolate Wagon with Davidson Plum, Iced Man-GoGo and the Salted Caramel Lamington.

“I wanted to combine fresh local ingredients with classic Australian treats that have been loved for generations,” said the renowned pastry chef.
Each new flavor offers a perfect balance of all the components needed to make a delicious gelato flavor. You have salty and sweet, an array of crunchy, thick, chewy textures, and bursts of fresh, beautiful flavors. ‘
Inspired by the classic wheel-shaped biscuit, the Davidson plum chocolate cart consists of a biscuit gelato ruffled with chocolate, covered with pieces of marshmallow and swirled with a plum jam.
The Iced Man-GoGo consists of Australian sun-ripened mangoes, topped with a shortbread crumble and sprinkled with desiccated coconut.

The salted caramel lamington combines a Dulce de Leche caramel and lamington gelato with a salted caramel lamington swirl and a pinch of coconut.
‘For us, working with Adriano was a natural match. His way of thinking ties in seamlessly with our ethos of creating innovative flavors alongside our commitment to fresh, local ingredients, ”said Filipe Barbosa, CEO of Gelatissimo.
Gelatissimo is made fresh in the store every day and uses no artificial colors or flavors.
Available in a cup or cone, the Aussie Classics with a Twist range can also be purchased as a home pack, made into a delicious shake or gelato cake.
