A woman has expressed outrage after claiming she paid extra for a window seat on a plane, only to discover she was sitting next to a solid panel.

He explained that the seat was positioned in front of the exit row seats, where those passengers had a window and additional legroom.
While she wasn’t worried about the extra legroom “considering I’m 5 feet tall at all,” she was “a little frustrated” by the lack of view.

The flight attendants said they could put her on a new flight, but the Reddit user said she was traveling with her family, so that wasn’t an option.

Offering some advice to prevent the same incident from happening, another said: ‘Next time check a seating map.
‘Some airplanes have air conditioning ducts that go from under the floor to the ceiling, they sacrifice one of those windows to pass said ducts.
“Some, as in your case, will install a row of seats next to an emergency exit, but the door frame does not allow for an additional window.”
Some other Reddit users suggested that the young woman had paid more to sit in an exit row, which invalidated her complaint with the airline.
