Alyssa first said that there is an age restriction to enter the church.

“You are not allowed to enter a temple until you are 12 years old,” he said.

When you first enter the sacred temple, you undergo a ritual with the dead.

The ex-Mormon added: ‘At 12, you do something called Baptisms for the Dead, where you are baptized in the place where the souls of people have passed away.’

After the haunting ritual, you do not undergo any unusual practices until you become a “dignified adult.”

‘Once you are a worthy adult, you go through an initiation ceremony where you are ceremoniously washed and anointed.

“Every part of your body is blessed, including your nose, your intestines, your kidneys and your chest,” he explained.

Alyssa said, ‘After washing and anointing, you will receive your garments.

‘These are special underwear that you have to wear day and night for the rest of your life.

‘You will then be qualified to participate in the endowment ceremony, which is where you are promised that you will become a king or queen in the Mormon afterlife.

‘During the ceremony, you will learn about Adam and Eve, secret handshakes and secret gestures.

‘You are told that you will be able to use this secret information to outwit the angels who guard the gates of heaven.’
