Alison Hammond did a double take on Friday’s episode of This Morning when she was presented with a wax figure of herself.
The TV personality, 49, was introduced to the model by Dermot O’Leary, who declared: “Are you ready for a double dose of Hammond?” before the grand opening.
Impressed by the wax figure, which will go on display at Madame Tussauds in Blackpool, Alison joked: “I always wanted a twin!” adding “It’s an honor.”
The mother of one was filmed during the making of the wax figure, where she had several sessions to pose for the sculptors.
In a film about the creative process, Alison reflected: “I can’t express how incredible it was to see myself. I know it’s not the color yet, but I honestly can’t wait to see the finished product.’

At her first look at the finished product, a stunned Alison said: ‘Oh my god! Should I stand next to her?
‘I can see myself from behind, it’s so strange I can’t tell you! I think she is more beautiful… What is it like to eat a sandwich Alison?
Dermot replied: ‘It’s quite overwhelming, I have to be honest with you!’ I’m not sure I can handle more than one!’
Alison later said: ‘Can I just say that the team at Madame Tussauds have worked so hard and you guys have done such a good job? I can’t believe I’m looking at myself!
‘Look at the eyelashes! Well go and see her, she’ll be in Blackpool, go and take a selfie with her, she’s gorgeous!’
While Alison was delighted with the finished product, not everyone was convinced.

Meanwhile, Alison is said to have a new life after finding love with handsome 6ft 10in model David Putman, who is 23 years her junior and also a masseuse.
Earlier this week, the surprising way the couple met was revealed – their relationship blossomed from the moment Alison booked David for a £150 massage.
According SunAlison was a client of the professional masseuse and it was during a session that the pair first hit it off, with the presenter visiting David between her busy filming schedule.
Their friendship reportedly turned romantic late last year, despite the 23-year age difference between the couple.
Originally from Krasnodar, Russia, David left the country for the United Kingdom in December 2022 to escape the frontline following President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
A friend of David’s told the publication: ‘When the war started in Ukraine, David’s mother Olga began to worry. She didn’t want her children to be involved in this. She wanted them safe like any mother would.
David therefore moved to the UK, where he now lives with his uncle Nigel Putman, 71, in Slough, but spends a lot of time in London for work.
The friend explained that David was able to avoid being drafted into the Russian army because his father, also called David, is originally from Slough, so the young masseuse already had British citizenship.
