Ticketmaster has announced a huge about-face for fans with tickets to Taylor Swift’s UK Eras tour dates.
The global superstar, 34, will visit some of Britain’s biggest cities, including Liverpool, Manchester, London, Cardiff and Edinburgh, and will also visit Dublin when the UK and Ireland leg of Eras kicks off in June.
After a rush by mega fans to get tickets, some were left disappointed by the strict rules implemented by the ticket giant.
The shows were originally intended to be a “master booking” type event, meaning the cardholder who purchased the tickets must attend the event in person.
This meant that anyone who purchased tickets as a gift also had to attend the concert, otherwise other ticket holders might not be able to enter.
The global superstar will visit some of the UK’s biggest cities including Liverpool, Manchester, London, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
Taylor will perform songs from all ten of her albums during her Eras UK tour.
However, this afternoon, Ticketmaster put Taylor’s lovers out of their misery, by reversing their settlement.
The company sent an email confirming that the “primary reservation” policy was no longer valid.
Ticketmaster said: “The ‘master booking’ policy has been removed, meaning that the person whose name is on the Ticketmaster account used to purchase tickets is no longer required to attend the event.
‘All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. We hope you enjoy the show!’

Taylor announced the release of her brand new album, The Tortured Poets Department, at the Grammys, which is set to drop on April 19.
Tickets for the Eras Tour have been selling out at major stadiums around the world since the dates were announced last March.
The desire to see the Midnights singer again was heightened when Taylor described the tour as a journey through all of her “musical eras.”
Swift said it was a tribute to the many albums she has released over the years.
The concerts last approximately three and a half hours, with the singer performing every style of music from her ten albums, from country to alternative rock.
She also announced the release of her brand new album, The Tortured Poets Department, at the Grammys, scheduled for release on April 19.
