Megyn Kelly reacted strongly to a shocking report claiming that the television personality is gearing up to form a new show that could rival ABC’s The View.
The shocking breaking news report, which surfaced on Friday, claimed the former Fox News television host, 54, would soon join television personality Elisabeth Hasselback for a “new conservative talk show” on CBS.
The report, published by Read Update Newssaid the new show will “premiere in early 2025” and “aims to fill a perceived gap in the market by providing a platform for conservative voices that are often overshadowed in mainstream media.”
The report, called ‘The Morning Right’, claimed the program will feature ‘political commentary, cultural discussions and interviews with high-profile guests from the political, entertainment and business worlds’.
Kelly, who now runs her own talk show and podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, seen on Sirius XM, turned to X to dispute the publication’s claims.
“This is a lie,” Kelly wrote in the Friday post.
The podcast host went on to dispel additional rumors that she and conservative political commentator Candace Owens would instead be the couple chosen to lead the new daytime television effort.
“And that includes the BS about yours truly and Candace Owens doing a show on CBS. Why on earth would I leave my job??’ she added.

Speculation that the longtime TV personality will helm a new show is nothing new, as rumors that Kelly and Owens would be working together initially surfaced in October with a since-controversial report from BigOakBay.com.
The Oct. 1 report claimed the collaboration “between two prominent conservative voices” would “shake up” the traditional morning programming landscape.
But regardless of who her co-host might be, Kelly has since refuted the illegal claims.
If the alleged CBS show were ever to materialize, the broadcast would likely be a close competitor to ABC’s popular talk show The View, with hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana. Navarro.
“The View has long been a dominant force in daytime television, known for its panel of diverse women who participate in lively debates on current issues. However, the left-wing stance has often alienated conservative viewers.
“CBS positions The Morning Right as a fresh alternative, offering what they describe as ‘balanced, insightful conversations’ from a conservative lens,” Read Update News’ report said.

Recently, Kelly made headlines with her revealing interview with Defense Department selectman Pete Hegseth, in which she questioned the political pundit about a recent rape allegation.
Hegseth, recently tapped by the president-elect to lead the Defense Department, thought he “had” to pay off a woman who accused him of rape because he was married and ready for a new job and wanted to make the accusations go away.
A series of disturbing reports have since cast doubt on whether Hegseth will remain Donald Trump’s choice to lead the department.
A woman accused the 44-year-old of raping her at the Republican Women’s Conference in California in 2017. No charges have been filed, but there is a police report of the allegations.
Speaking to Megyn Kelly on her show on Wednesday, Hegseth declined to reveal how much he paid the woman.
“I paid her because I had to, or at least that’s what I thought at the time,” Hegseth says.
“She has lawyers who contacted me and said, ‘If you don’t come forward, and if you don’t pay money, we’re going to end up arresting him.’ We were in the middle of a #MeToo movement. I had a great job at Fox and a wonderful marriage.”
He continued, “This is not what I should have done… I did it to protect my wife. I did it to protect my family, and I did it to protect my job, and it was a negotiation purely to avoid that.”
Hegseth admitted on SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show that there is some truth to the flood of damning reports.
In other news, just after President Joe Biden announced the shocking pardon of his son Hunter, The Megyn Kelly Show host cited the loss of her late sister to the opioid crisis in criticizing ‘spoiled brat’ Hunter Biden after his father admitted him a presidential pardon.
Kelly spent her Monday night show raging at President Biden as he lied to the American people for protecting “the Biden crime family” after he let his long-troubled son off the hook.

On Tuesday, Kelly personalized the tragedy she said many families are feeling after losing family members who weren’t able to get the free ride Hunter has.
“Millions of people have this in their families where someone you know and love ended up in the opioid crisis,” she said.
Kelly quoted her older sister Suzanne Crossly, who died two years ago at age 58 after becoming addicted to opioids.
“But my sister actually ended up in the opioid crisis because a doctor told her this thing wouldn’t be addictive, and it was, and the ship never righted.”
