The Channel Ten series’ Instagram account shared a teaser video suggesting that one of the stars heading to the South African jungle in 2025 will be an Olympic “freestyle lover”.
Fans flocked to the comments, with many guessing the track was referring to controversial Olympic breakdancer Raygun, and some viewers weren’t too impressed.
The voiceover in the teaser video said: “A headline-grabbing Olympic athlete has a ticket to the African wilderness.” They love freestyle. Will the jungle destroy them?
The words “Olympic”, “freestyle love” and “break” may point to famous breakdancer Raygun, 37, being sent to the jungle next year.
“I’m boycotting the show if it’s Raygun,” one person wrote under the post.

“I definitely won’t watch it if she shows up,” said another.
A third added: “Won’t watch if Raygun goes into the jungle.”
Raygun, whose real name is Rachael Gunn, made headlines during the Paris 2024 Olympics when she entered the competitive multi-sport event with a bizarre breakdancing routine.
The B-girl showed off her questionable skills by jumping like a kangaroo and writhing on the ground like a snake.
While some praised the Australian academic for becoming an overnight sensation, others criticized her for mocking the country on the international stage.
After recently declaring that she was not interested in a career in reality TV, it appears that controversial breakdancer Raygun is reconsidering her decision.
According to a report by Yahoo Lifestyle Earlier this month, the college professor is considering a high-profile role on a reality show that could be worth six figures.
An ‘insider’ told the outlet that Raygun is close to landing a TV deal ‘any day now.’

“Raygun is close to landing a lucrative deal with a network any day now that could determine which celebrity reality show the famous breakdancer will appear on,” the source said.
It seems that the networks are not just looking for a brief appearance; They are eager to sign the Olympian to a long-term contract.
“The television networks don’t want to share it either,” they said.
“They are looking for ‘exclusive networking deals’ that could last 12 to 24 months.”
There are reports suggesting that one of the leading candidates for the role is from Channel Ten’s popular reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
A source familiar with the production told Yahoo that Raygun is “very close” to signing on for the reality show hosted by Julia Morris and Robert Irwin.
“Raygun is one of the names at the top of the list that bosses have been working on since it went viral,” the source claimed.
They said that while Raygun was initially indifferent to the idea of chasing fame on a reality show, a lucrative contract could be the incentive needed for his babysitter to jump into the jungle.
Some fans were not impressed with the idea of Raygun being in the series and threatened to boycott the show if he appeared.
“At first, the Raygun team refused, but they are now realizing that their window to make big money is rapidly closing and they are unlikely to ever get a six-figure sum to do a show again,” they said.
The claims come after Raygun recently admitted on 101.9 The Fox’s Fifi, Fev and Nick that he didn’t think reality TV was a “good option.”
“I won’t go to the jungle,” he said.
She went on to admit that the reason she wasn’t interested in appearing on a reality show was her “memeable face.”
‘I have a very memeable face as we have seen. “There have been some incredible memes that have emerged and I don’t think reality TV is the space for me,” he said.
“I’m looking to focus on things where I can really bring joy and try to encourage people to be creative.”
