The inaugural Australian Idol runner-up, 49, looked almost unrecognizable on the event’s “pink carpet”, displaying a definite air of sartorial elegance.
The Learn To Fly hitmaker is usually at home sporting a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, possibly accenting the outfit with a ‘flanno’ or well-worn trucker cap.
But Shannon decided to go all out as she rubbed shoulders with the likes of Jojo Siwa, Robert Irwin and Anna Paul at the glittering event.
The Masked Singer star cut a very elegant figure in a striking red collared shirt that he wore, on the outside, under a black tuxedo.
The jacket featured a monochrome paisley print and a thin black lapel.

She paired her bohemian jacket with a pair of skinny black jeans and a pair of pointy boots made of what appeared to be crocodile skin.
Shannon accessorized with a silver ornament around her neck that was exposed thanks to an unbuttoned shirt.
She completed the stylish ensemble with a chic black fedora that featured a turquoise feather for a pop of color.
The rocker could not hide his innate larrakin and offered the photographers a cordial greeting while smiling widely.

The singer recently revealed the moment he decided to transform his lifestyle and physical appearance.
The Lift hitmaker told Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie in April that he started going to the gym after realizing he was “getting fat and skinny.”
“I’ve been back in the gym for eighteen months,” he said.
Host Ryan Fitzgerald asked: Was there a catalyst for that, Shannon? Was there a moment when you said “you know I’m not happy with the way I live my life and I need to change”?
‘Yeah, I started getting fat-skinny, mate, because I’m skinny by nature anyway, I have skinny legs. “If I don’t work out and drink, you’ll end up looking like ET,” Shannon said.
“You have a beer gut,” Fitzy responded.
Shannon agreed, adding, “Yeah, that’s right… I couldn’t allow it, so I thought I had to get back to the gym.” I train very hard and try to watch what I eat when I train.’
Shannon’s admission came after he and Cosima De Vito addressed rumors that they were involved in a feud following their seasons on Australian Idol.
The singers rose to fame in the first series of the talent show in 2003, making it to the final three alongside Guy Sebastian, who was eventually crowned the winner.
Cosima came third after being forced to leave the competition due to throat nodules that threatened to damage her voice, leaving fans supporting her devastated.
At the time, viewers speculated whether Cosima got more votes than Shannon despite her departure for health reasons, sparking wild rumors of a rift between them.
However, more than 20 years later, the couple have steadfastly denied there was ever any bad blood between them when they reunited to do a duet on Shannon’s new album, That’s What I’m Talking About.

Shannon admitted she felt “bad” for Cosima after her “hard” and sudden exit from Australian Idol, but insisted they have always been friends despite the drama.
Of the criticism that Shannon received for reaching the final after her exit, Cosima admitted women’s day: ‘I felt very bad for Shannon, I felt very guilty.
“We never talked about it, and we were always friends, and it was understood that we wanted the best for each other, there were never any hard feelings in any way.”
The pair reunited on Shannon’s new album, the 20th anniversary re-release of her 2004 debut, That’s What I’m Talking About, after secretly recording a new version of the Kelly Clarkson and Jason Aldean country hit , Don’t You Wanna Stay.
Shannon said of the new song: “I thought what better way to mend bridges for her than to put it on a single and get it back on the radio. It tickled her pink to be a part of this and it blew her voice out of the water.” .’
Cosima described singing with Shannon once again as “special” as she acknowledged the 20 years it has been since Australian Idol split when they reunited.
Shannon parlayed her early fame on Australian Idol into a successful recording and touring career, which has seen her release six studio albums.
He has also enjoyed ten ARIA singles out of ten, including chart-toppers What About Me, Learn To Fly and Shine.
