Donald Trump is considering giving the likes of Joe Rogan and Megyn Kelly a seat in the White House press conference room instead of mainstream media journalists, in a plot that will “blow some heads.”
The stunning plan was revealed by the president-elect’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., on a recent episode of his podcast ‘Triggered with Donald Trump Jr.’
Speaking to his co-host Michael Knowles, Jr. admitted that new White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt could adjust the layout of the briefing rooms to make room for Trump’s new podcast “bro” buddies.
“I’m wondering now, as your father is assembling his team, as Karoline Leavitt may be looking at the new press conference seating chart, if it might be time to rearrange that seating chart and perhaps move some people’s seats away.” get it,” Knowles inquired.
The future president’s son quickly shot back: “We’re going to tell you something new here.”
“I literally had this conversation with — I was flying back, I was on the plane with my dad, I think it was coming back from the SpaceX launch with Elon (Musk) last week,” Jr. said.
“And we were talking about the podcast world and some of our friends and Rogan and guys like you.”
Then Trump, 46, revealed that the podcaster’s plan was met with great enthusiasm: “That’s a great idea, Don.”

“And so that could be in the works,” Jr. continued. “That’ll turn some heads, so we’ll see.”
Jr. reasoned that non-traditional voices should be given a chance to be at the briefings as consumer trust in mainstream media plummets, and he said how many of them are openly biased against his family.
“If the New York Times has lied, they’ve been against everything, they’re functioning as the marketing arm of the Democratic Party, why wouldn’t they open it up to people with a larger viewership and a stronger following?” said Jr.
The only people who actually ran for a spot in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room were Knowles and Rogan, but since there are only 49 seats in the prestigious West Wing room, giving away spots would certainly cause an uproar among the press corps.
While the White House is responsible for providing journalists with credentials, the actual seating arrangements in the briefing room are determined by the White House Correspondents’ Association, which operates independently of the government.
During his first term, Trump banned certain reporters from briefings, most notably CNN’s Jim Acosta.
But after a legal showdown with the network, the White House backed down and restored Acosta’s credentials.
In contrast to his relationships with the White House press corps, the president-elect seemed to quickly befriend podcasters when he appeared on their shows.

Trump had brilliant conversations with Rogan, comedian Theo Von and streamer Adin Ross as he brought his campaign’s message to younger men across the country.
The performances quickly racked up tens of millions of views and generated a slew of largely positive press coverage.
Media outlets, including this one, scoured the episodes for newsy and bizarre bits like Trump’s beliefs about whether there is life on Mars or whether he could really abolish the federal income tax.
Rogan even admitted he was surprised by the president-elect’s ease of adapting to the hour-long format.
‘He has the ability to just keep going. This is the crazy thing, like the podcast was three hours long,” Rogan thought after their conversation.
“The man didn’t pee before the podcast. He didn’t pee after the podcast. He just left,” Rogan said in surprise.
