Taylor Swift returned to the stands at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night to cheer on Travis Kelce in the NFL, and the tension seemed to take over at one point during the game.
In the third quarter, the New Orleans Saints Defensive tackle Khalen Saunders intercepted Patrick Mahomes in the end zone for a 37-yard return as his team increased the pressure on the Chiefs in the closing stages.
After showing a replay of Saunders’ race, ESPN cameras showed Swift in her VIP suite, where she could be seen screaming in frustration.
Fans on social media thought they could read Swift’s lips screaming, “No, I want to kill myself.” The clip went viral on social media and all viewers read the apparent comment the same way.
Saunders is the older brother of one of Swift’s backup dancers, Kameron, who has performed with the singer around the world during her successful Eras Tour.
Taylor Swift literally said “I’m going to kill myself” at one point while watching the game last night. And, as a sports fan, if that’s not just the most relatable reaction to a game. She gets it guys. https://t.co/vpY3iyqRlJ pic.twitter.com/tHsnMVI74N

But despite Swift’s nerves, the Chiefs held firm and won 23-16 that night in Kansas City, extending their winning start to the season to 5-0.
After the game, Chariah Gordon, Kelce’s Chiefs teammate Mecole Hardman, filmed her and described the win as “perfect.”
Monday’s game was Swift’s first Chiefs game in more than two weeks.
He skipped the last two road games against the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers.
Swift took a seat in Kelce’s suite alongside her father Scott, several of Kelce’s friends, and her father, Ed.
He was also absent during Kelce’s birthday celebrations over the weekend. He celebrated his 35th birthday by hosting a ‘Car Jam’ in Kansas City, raising funds for his ’87 and Running’ foundation.
Kelce has had a rough start to the season by his usual high standards, but he recorded nine catches for 70 yards in an encouraging performance.
Swift returned to supporting the Chiefs after missing the last two road games and Kelce’s 35th birthday on Saturday, where he hosted a charity event in Kansas City.
The Chiefs now have a bye week before playing the San Francisco Giants on Oct. 20 in California, a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl.

The Chiefs star kept his girlfriend waiting on the tarmac for about an hour, arriving late for the private jet flight out of Missouri.
