Justin Timberlake has agreed to a $500 fine as part of a plea deal to “move on” following his DUI arrest in the Hamptons on June 18.
The 43-year-old Mirrors hitmaker, who is also set to make a public service video for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, is looking to “focus” on his family three months after the incident.
The star was initially charged with drink driving but will now admit to driving while impaired to avoid a drink driving charge, according to Information from TMZ website.
A source reported People On Thursday, Timberlake said he is “a family man and this is his goal. He took a plea deal because he wants to move forward.”
“The court case has been a distraction,” the source continued. “He doesn’t want his family to be affected by it.”

The star was initially charged with driving under the influence, but will now admit to driving while impaired to avoid a drunk driving charge, according to TMZ.
Justin married actress Jessica Biel in 2012, and the couple have two sons: Silas, nine, and Phineas, four.
While the artist will not face a drunk driving charge, his license was suspended last month, in August, for one year in New York State.
The source further added to People: “It’s not like he’s going to get away with it entirely – his license is still suspended.”
According to the source, Biel “is not happy about it. She encouraged him to accept the deal.”
Later this week, on Friday, September 13, the Selfish singer is scheduled to attend a hearing in New York.
