On Booking.com, the going rate for a room for one adult and one child in a hotel in the capital on June 7 is £930, compared to £467 on the Friday before the concert.

Another is to advertise rooms at £1,625 for the first night of the three concerts. Seven days earlier, the price was listed at £614.

Another company advertised a room for £923 on June 7, while the price is listed as £351 on May 31.

The multi-award-winning singer will take to the stage at Murrayfield Stadium to perform in front of around 215,000 fans between June 7 and 9.

Meanwhile, Glasgow Clyde College is hosting a course that will offer a Taylor Swift masterclass ahead of her shows in Scotland.

Its goal is to teach parents and the uninitiated everything they need to know about the singer before her three concerts.
