Hannah Davis, 22, of Lexington Park, Maryland, saved nearly $4,000 in tips and spent it all on a solo vacation to Europe.
This travel enthusiast worked the longest shifts possible to make her dream come true and, thanks to her hard work, she managed to visit six countries in Europe.

Hannah said: ‘It took me three months to save up to make the trip possible. I worked full time and saved almost everything I earned for vacations.
“I worked 12-hour shifts from Wednesday to Sunday all summer and made sure I didn’t spend money on anything but necessities.”
Hannah had always wanted to visit Europe and decided it was time to make the effort and do everything she could to make her dream come true.
Over the next few months, the waitress spent hours working at her seafood restaurant, sacrificing many nights out with her friends.

‘Every moment of my trip is appreciated, I spent my entire life dreaming of traveling and being able to work towards this dream and succeed was very special to me. I had the time of my life and hope to take another great trip as soon as possible.
‘I spent the trip sightseeing, chasing the sun and sea, making connections with people from all over the world and having experiences that have changed my life. It was absolutely worth all the work.
‘This trip was done on a budget, I stayed in hostels, took buses instead of flying, sometimes cooked meals in hostels and generally made it as cheap as possible.
‘I used to think that travel, especially big trips like mine, was an impossible dream and that it was only possible for the rich. While money is necessary for big trips like this, it is entirely possible for anyone to do it if he works for his dreams.’
