Marty Brodeur’s Hockey School Summer Camps Concludes With Visit From Legendary Goalie

WAYNE, NJ — The beginning of August marked the conclusion of the Brodeur Hockey Schoolsummer camps of

Founded by former New Jersey Devils Goalkeeper Martin Brodeur’s son Anthony and his wife Abby, the mission of the couple “Not only to continue the family legacy, but also to continue his passion and develop the game of hockey.”

The camp was held from July 23-26 in West Orange, New Jersey at the Richard J Codey Arena. The following week, it moved to the Ice Vault in Wayne.

Children ages 8-14 participated in the camp, which included two hours of on-ice training, one hour of off-ice conditioning, one hour of activity/talk, and a virtual Q&A session with Martin Brodeur.

Once it was all over, the Devils’ now executive vice president of hockey operations shared photos from camp with the caption: “A great time.” Field hockey school @brodeur “Watching and talking to the next generation of goalkeepers! Thanks to all the kids and parents for participating in the camp!”

Anthony Brodeur was drafted by the Devils in 2013 in the seventh round, but did not sign an entry-level contract.
