50 Cent has fired back after a prominent Las Vegas blogger said his Vegas residency was the “worst” show Sin City has ever seen.
During a recent residency performance, the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, addressed the scathing review from blogger Jennifer Gay, better known as Vegas Starfish, to her nearly 1 million followers.
“Um, they said the audio was bad,” he told the sold-out Planet Hollywood audience.
“What, you thought I was going to skate here like Usher and stuff?” he continued.
“I saw some things, Chris Brown flew in Africa. I have no data showing that I have to fly in Africa.’

In her scathing review, Gay criticized everything from the sound quality of Jackson’s show to the set design.
She also said that the In Da Club hitmaker hardly interacted with the audience.
“The sound was poorly balanced making it impossible to hear the performance,” she wrote on Instagram.
“His hype men were unrelenting and overbearing, making it difficult to hear anything other than their echoes,” she continued.
“The stage design and graphics felt like they were organized 15 minutes before the show with a Chat GPT prompt for ’90s hip-hop imagery.”
She went on to say that Jackson had a “lack of energy” on stage and complained about a “lack of audience involvement.”
‘This was the worst live performance I have ever attended for any artist. I understand he’s successful and doesn’t need a residency, so why would he do it if he doesn’t want to put in the effort?’ she raged.
‘It felt like he didn’t want to be here after the first ten minutes. This was worth about a tenth of what I paid to see it.”

Following her brutal review, many people in the comments accused Gay of being too harsh on the Candy Shop hitmaker.
“Rather listen to a fan’s opinion, those are the ones that count,” said one.
Another wrote: ‘Looks like the majority of the songs were on site with sound, lights and graphics. Strange decision to put it on the artist.’
A third added: ‘Your experience was completely different to ours. The entire crowd was engaged and was on their feet and dancing the entire time. I’m not sure which show you went to, but the one I went to was amazing.”
DailyMail.com contacted Jackson and Planet Hollywood for comment at the time.
The Grammy-winning rapper has signed a $15 million deal for the six-day residency, which includes a New Year’s Eve concert on December 31, according to TMZ.
The residency will be held in the 4,600-seat PH Live, or Bakkt Theater, which features 2,200 square feet of HD LED walls, a D&B sound system with over 100,000 watts of power and one of the largest stage arch openings in the United States.
The medium-sized auditorium previously housed residencies of Shania Twain, Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull, Lionel Richie, Gwen Stefani, Pitbull, Lionel Richie, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Backstreet Boys and Christina Aguilera.
Jackson has scored several Billboard songs during his career, including In Da Club, PIMP, Candy Shop, Just A Lil Bit, Magic Stick, 21 Questions and Hate It Or Love It.
