Three women and two men were found dead in a South Florida home on Friday.
Police made the discovery shortly before 10 a.m. while responding to a call from a relative of at least one of the victims, NBC News reported. It is unclear how the victims are connected.
All five people appear to have been shot. The wounds of one of the dead are believed to be self-inflicted.
The offices first searched around the house, before finding an open window and detecting the first of the victims inside the house, where four other bodies were found.
“You can imagine, for the family members that were here, that it is extremely tragic to be able to find five people that are there dead,” said Álvaro Zabaleta, Miami-Dade police public information officer.
This is a developing story.
