The NFL has announced a delightful five-game schedule for the 2024 International Games, which will see London, Munich and Sao Paulo play host to some of the league’s top talent.
A Week 1 clash in the Brazilian capital between the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles had already been announced, but now the UK and Germany games have also been made public as preparations for the 2024 season continue.
In the announcement, it was revealed that the New York Jets will return to London for a big regular season game in early October, where they will take on the Minnesota Vikings.
The Oct. 6 clash will mark the Jets’ second time across the Atlantic in three years, but it will be the first time quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been in the UK with his new team.
A week later, in the same stadium, the Chicago Bears will play against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who this year will play their twelfth and thirteenth games in the English capital.
A week later, the Jags return to Wembley Stadium, and their opponent on October 20 will be the New England Patriots, beginning their new era without Bill Belichick.
On November 10, the focus is on Munich and the Allianz Arena, where the Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants will face off.
“We are delighted to announce these exciting matchups in London and Munich, plus the historic first game in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to complete the 2024 International Games slate,” said Peter O., executive vice president of club business, major events and NFL international. -Reilly said.
“As the league and its 32 teams continue to prioritize international growth, we look forward to building on the incredible fan experiences seen in Europe while bringing the game to new fans in South America.”
The full NFL schedule will be released tonight at 8 p.m. ET, and fans are eagerly awaiting news about where their team will play in 2024 and 2025.
The league and its networks have been drip-feeding information over the past few days, and it was confirmed that the Kansas City Chiefs will open the new season with a home game against the Baltimore Ravens.
