100-MAN brawl breaks out… sparked by WATER PISTOL prank at Berlin outdoor pool

100-MAN brawl breaks out for terrified families… fueled by WATER PISTOL joke in Berlin’s outdoor pool

  • A huge brawl broke out in an outdoor pool in Berlin this weekend
  • The collision is said to have started after someone was sprayed with a water pistol
  • About 100 police officers attended to break up the fight and arrested several

This is when a massive brawl erupted in an outdoor pool in Berlin on Sunday, with 100 young men fighting each other.

The huge fight broke out after one group sprayed another with a water pistol in Sommerbad am Insulaner in the German capital Steglitz.

This would have developed into a verbal and then a physical argument.

A total of 13 police vehicles arrived with a hundred officers who arrived on the scene and arrested several people.

The footage from bystanders shows how security failed to stop a fight from breaking out, but within seconds they could do nothing but watch.

Many families attending the popular outdoor pool, who were there on weekends to enjoy the warm weather, had to compete.

The video shows children standing in a crowd, while in the background mothers jumped up and carried their children to safety.

The situation could have been avoided if there had been better controls at the entrance of whoever enters the bathroom, Rainer Wendt, head of the German police union, told BILD.

‘It is the task of the organizer to carry out identity checks and also to check and, if necessary, limit them. We must not cede public space to these violent crooks.

‘Any nightclub owner who has a decent bouncer can ensure that such a clientele doesn’t come in. The police can’t always come.

“The police are a law enforcement agency, not a lifeguard club. We can’t be in all the pools by the hundreds. That is the task of the organisers.’

The police arrived in droves and were finally able to calm the heated atmosphere.

According to the investigation, four people aged 23, two aged 21 and a 15-year-old are suspects.

A 21-year-old is also under investigation for dangerous bodily harm – allegedly punching a 23-year-old pool security guard.

One of the alleged attackers is now under investigation for dangerous bodily harm – and the others for grave breaches of the peace.

Some of those involved had to be treated for minor cuts, police said. A ten-year-old boy was allegedly punched.
