Using his leg for balance and grasping his right arm with his left hand, the man wrestles back and forth with the lion.

He can’t get his finger out of the dandelions and his right ring finger is apparently severed from his hand.

A witness said The Jamaican Observer: ‘When it happened, I thought it was a joke. I didn’t realize the seriousness of this because it’s his job to put on a show.

‘Obviously when he fell to the ground everyone realized that it was serious. Everyone started to panic.

The woman continued: ‘All the skin and around the first joint of her finger were gone.

‘I ran away from it all, because I don’t like to see blood and it was too graphic for me.
