A ‘Zombie’ Angelina Jolie lookalike, known for posting haunted Instagram photos, has finally revealed her real face on Iranian TV after she was released from prison.
Contrary to popular belief, Sahar Tabar is nothing like her ‘zombie’ alter ego.
Many people believed that she had undergone cosmetic surgery to get her demonic appearance, but she revealed herself on the Iranian TV channel Rokna.
Tabar, 21, whose real name is Fatemeh Khishvand, from Tehran, was originally jailed for obscenity and insulting the hijab, according to the Iran Human Rights News Agency.
She was arrested in October 2019 for ‘corruption’ and ‘blasphemy’ and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
But the media star was recently released after serving just 14 months, as reported by activist Masih Alinejad.

“What you saw on Instagram were the computer effects I used to create the image,” she said, according to boys bible.
Announcing Tabar’s jail sentence in 2020, the activist wrote online: “Sahar Tabar is only 19. Her joke landed her in jail.
“Her mother cries every day to get her innocent daughter free. Dear Angelina Jolie! we need your vote here. Help us.’
Tabar was also reported to have caught Covid-19 in 2020, with the US-based Center for Human Rights In Iran saying a judge in the country refused to grant her bail despite the coronavirus being rife at the time. in the country’s prisons.
Ms Alinejad called on Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie to petition for Tabar’s release in a video, adding: “The Islamic Republic has a history of tormenting women. We must be united against this gender apartheid.’
This year, for the sixth week in a row, Iran was rocked by widespread protests and strikes following the death of Mahsa Amini, who was killed in custody after he was charged with violating Iran’s strict dress code for women.
Her death has sparked the largest anti-government protests in the Islamic Republic in years.

In 2019, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Channel 3 (IRIB TV3) said Tabar could face between three months and two years in prison.
The social media star rose to fame in 2017 after reportedly undergoing 50 surgeries to make her look like the Oscar-winning actress Mrs Jolie.
She later confirmed that her appearance was achieved primarily through makeup and montage in a prior television interview in which she appeared as a “zombie,” with her face largely blurred.
She told the interviewer that she didn’t look like her Instagram photos because they were heavily edited in Photoshop.
The charges against Tabar include blasphemy, inciting violence, obtaining revenue through improper means and encouraging youth to commit corruption
Tabar also said that it had been her childhood dream to become famous and that despite her mother’s objections, she had continued her efforts to build her Instagram following.
She later admitted that she had undergone a number of surgeries, such as a nose job, lip fillers, and liposuction, but insisted most of her unusual appearance had to do with makeup and editing.
Cosmetic surgery is extremely popular in the Islamic republic, with tens of thousands of operations per year.
Instagram is the only major social media service accessible in Iran, unlike Facebook and Twitter, and the Telegram messenger service has been officially banned. Since then, it has been blocked in certain parts of the country since the 2022 protests.
