She has been busy promoting her film Emilia Pérez, which premiered on November 1 and co-stars Selena Gómez.
Zoe takes on the role of Rita in the Spanish-language film, while Selena plays Jessi Del Monte’s character.
The film is set in Mexico and tells the story of a lawyer who receives “an unexpected offer to help a feared cartel boss retire from his business and disappear forever, becoming the woman he always dreamed of being,” according to a synopsis from IMDb.
It won the Jury Prize during the 77th Cannes Film Festival in May, and the female cast won Best Actress.

“If you live a day in the life of my circus home, English is probably a language we use when the kids are out of school,” she explained.
She added: ‘When the children are in school, they all revert to their childhood language, and the language that they first spoke to me, that they sang to me, that I received love in, was Spanish. I become a different person. I use different tones in my voice when I speak Spanish. Then it felt wonderful. It was like coming home.’
