Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has urged Donald Trump to share his supposed secret plan, which he said would end the Russian invasion “within 24 hours.”
The current Republican favorite for the 2024 presidential election has bragged in several recent interviews and political rallies that his idea would resolve Europe’s bloodiest conflict in decades in a single day.
But the former president, 77, has refused to provide details on how he would mediate negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
A frustrated Zelensky explained CNN Tuesday: ‘He can now share his idea publicly, waste no time, lose no people, and say, ‘My formula is to stop the war and stop all this tragedy and stop Russian aggression.’
The 45-year-old Ukrainian leader added that he did not believe Trump’s involvement in future negotiations would lead to a positive outcome for Ukraine: “(Trump) said, how he sees it, how we can drive the Russians out of our country . Otherwise he is not presenting the global idea of peace.

“So (if) the idea is how we can take away some of our territory and give it to Putin, then that is not the peace formula.”
The former president turned accused criminal has bragged for months about his secret plan to solve Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
He told Right Side in February: “It can be negotiated within 24 hours. It has to be done from the president’s office, and you have to get them both in a room, and there are things you can say to each of them – which I won’t reveal right now – that will guarantee that this war will happen. end immediately. They have to do it.’
A month later, he told Fox News that negotiations would be “easy.”
“If it is not resolved (by the next presidential inauguration), I will have resolved it within 24 hours with Zelensky and with Putin, and very easy negotiations can take place, but I don’t want to tell you what it is because then I not use that negotiation,” he told the channel.
Zelensky’s scathing comments about Trump came after he urged the UN to push back against Vladimir Putin, claiming he would not stop at Ukraine and warning the despot could drop nuclear weapons.
“When hatred is unleashed against one nation, it never stops there,” he said at the annual UN General Assembly summit on Tuesday.
“The purpose of the current war against Ukraine is to turn our country, our people, our lives and our resources into weapons against you – against the international rules-based order.”
