He announced his new album called Room Under The Stairs in March.
In March, Zayn deleted his Instagram page and posted a single Reel, while preparing his fans for his self-penned fourth studio album.
He shared a selection of images in the video, as well as music and a voiceover, but did not write any caption.
He said in the preview: “I think the intention behind this album is for the listener to get more information about me personally as a human being – my ambitions, my fears – and to have a connection with that.”
‘And that’s why it’s so raw, you know, it’s just me writing this. I didn’t want anyone else to come between the music and me and the music and the people listening to it.’
At the end a short snippet of What I Am was played. It had the lyrics: ‘If I told you I loved you, would you say it’s fucked?’
Zayn worked with nine-time Grammy Award-winning country music producer Dave Cobb on the upcoming album.
