“My mother is a nurse and my father is in the military, so they don’t come from a very creative background. I don’t know how it really happened, but I feel like I was born to do this. I’m living my dream.”

Asked if it was ever difficult being a young woman in the music industry, she replied: “Yeah, it definitely can be. There have definitely been some moments where I’ve been like, ‘What’s going on? ‘”
‘Nowadays, I don’t want to work with just guys in the room. At first, I just went with the flow.
“Nowadays, what I like is to have at least one other girl in the room. I would love to make an album with only girls.”
