Zachary Quinto was banned from a Toronto restaurant because he claimed he “yelled at the staff” and also made a host cry in an Instagram post shared by the company on Sunday.
The Hollywood actor, 47, known for playing Spock in the Star Trek franchise, was also labeled an “entitled child” by the restaurant called Manita, following the alleged incident.
A statement posted to the restaurant’s Instagram stories read: “Zachary Quinto: An amazing Spock, but a terrible customer.”
“He yelled at our staff like an entitled child after failing to respond to two text messages informing him that his table was ready and refused to believe that empty tables in the dining room were not available to him despite being told politely informed that they were talking.” .’
‘It made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable. Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities who join us at Manita but you are NOT one of them,’ the business concluded.

Manita is known as a “coffee shop, grocery store and neighborhood bar,” according to the restaurant’s official website.
The ‘Mediterranean bistro’ offers customers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with dishes on the menu including avocado toast and mushroom croque madame.
The alleged incident comes as Zachary appears to be spending time in Canada to celebrate his 47th birthday, which also took place on Sunday, June 2.
Quinto also took to his Instagram Stories to share photos and videos that captured special moments from the big day.
One image was taken while visiting an amusement park called Canada’s Wonderland, which is located in Ontario.
She shared a snap of the crowded entrance and wrote down: “thank you for such an amazing birthday adventure @canadaswonderland.”
The American Horror Story actor included a short video that filmed him having a blast on a drop tower.
Zachary was also able to enjoy a sugary treat topped with a lit candle while relaxing inside a restaurant during the birthday festivities.

The NBC medical drama was officially greenlit last year in October and will premiere on the network later this year in fall 2024.
Quinto has been cast in the role of neurologist Dr. Oliver Wolf, and is based on the late real-life neurosurgeon and author, Oliver Wolf Sacks.
The series was initially titled Wolf before being changed to Brilliant Minds, and also stars Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Teddy Sears and Donna Murphy.
The premise is: “A neurologist and his team of interns as they explore the human mind, while struggling with their own relationships and mental health,” according to a Official synopsis from IMDB.
