Fans are once again raising questions about Zac Efron’s appearance after watching his new Netflix movie, A Family Affair.
In the romantic comedy co-starring Nicole Kidman and Joey King, plus a behind-the-scenes look Video uploaded to his InstagramThe 36-year-old actor is seen with a noticeably wider jaw and more robust facial features.
‘I’m trying to watch #AFamilyAffair with #ZacEfron but I’m too distracted by whatever he did to his beautiful face, why would he do that to himself?’ one follower wrote.
Another simply shared: ‘What the hell has he done to his face?’

Despite his explanation, fans continued to question Zac’s transformation after watching A Family Affair.
“What happened to Zac Efron’s face? Did they put a lot of filler in him? Up close he looks 50 years old,” wrote one.
Another added: ‘I can’t be the only one who thinks Zac Efron looks weird with that face… I couldn’t concentrate on the movie…’
Others were quick to defend the star, citing her previous surgery following a serious fall years ago.

In his interview, Zac revealed that he had a nasty accident at home that caused the massive transformation on his face.
The star recalled how she slipped while putting on a pair of socks while jogging in her home, causing her to crash her chin into a granite fountain.
Zac said that when he was injured, the masseter muscles inside his face and jaw “compensated” for his injury, causing them to grow in size, hence his remarkable transformation.

This led fans to speculate that the attractive star had undergone plastic surgery.

Efron’s friend Kyle Sandilands also spoke out on his behalf, saying the Baywatch star would never do something like that and comparing it to an oil painting by one of the old masters.
The Australian radio host, who has known Zac for years, shut down the speculation during The Kyle and Jackie O Show at the time.
“I’d like to know if he’d had any plastic surgery,” Kyle said, before telling co-host Jackie “O” Henderson that “of course” Zac hadn’t had any work done.
She then said that it wouldn’t make sense for the High School Musical heartthrob to undergo surgery because he’s already so handsome.
“It’s like having a Picasso and a kid finger-painting all over it. Why bother?” he said bluntly.
