The ironing genius claimed most people avoid shirt buttons like “minefields”, but he has an easier way to get your laundry done in seconds.

In the video titled “Ironing Shirts Just Got a Lot Easier,” he starts by placing a shirt on an ironing board with the buttons facing up.

He said: “If you iron your shirt like before. You’re probably hovering around buttons, avoiding them like they’re minefields.

But then he claims that this method “is not the right way to do it” and begins to demonstrate his simplest trick.

He explains: “Start by turning your shirt inside out, let the iron slide over the fabric, one and that’s it.”

“Smooth and wrinkle-free,” he adds.

The man turns the shirt inside out and shows how the space between the buttons has become flattened and wrinkle-free.

Since its publication, the video has been viewed a million times and thousands of users have flooded the commenters, amazed that they have never tried this technique before.

One person wrote: “Wow, I never would have thought of doing it this way. Thank you for sharing.’
