A YouTube star tried to carry out an extreme tomato diet for a week, during which she would eat dozens of them every day to promote fat burning.
Remi Cruz, 24, invited followers in what she eats every day for her latest video, since the YouTuber – known as MissRemyAshten – has focused on healthy eating and training over the past year.
The Los Angeles, California, revealed in the video that her nutritionist, who also works with the Kardashian family and Marvel actors, has advised them to follow a tomato-oriented diet for a week to burn fat and promote weight loss.

Remi is certainly not the first person to promote the benefits of tomatoes insofar as it supports weight loss; according to Livestrong, nutritionist Dr. Ann Kulze refers to the tomato as a & # 39; superstar & # 39 ;, as far as he helps people slim down.
The website adds that tomatoes are a great low-calorie snack and can be considered an ideal & # 39; high volume & # 39; food that helps you fill without adding too many calories, fats or sugars to your daily intake.
For Remi, consuming large quantities of tomatoes is certainly not a long-term plan – but she explained that her nutritionist proposed the diet as a way to tackle her weight loss and see what results might follow.

She noted that the tomato diet is not & # 39; sustainable & # 39; but that it took a week instead to see how the body responds to the food.
To start her day, the YouTuber took some nut butter with fruit before reaching the gym for her first workout.
She will then make a protein shake after her workout and take a snack with cherry tomatoes mid-morning to satisfy her hunger until lunch.
& # 39; Honestly, in the beginning, eating normal cherry tomatoes, I wasn't concerned about that, but now I eat them like sweets, & # 39; said Remi. During the snack break, she eats a cup of cherry tomatoes.
At lunch for the day a homemade turkey burger stood on a salad of fruit and vegetables. Included with the salad was avocado, cucumber and, of course, tomatoes.
Her afternoon snack had to get a paleo pizza from the supermarket that Remi had bought, but she burned it in the air fryer. So she used carrots and cherry tomatoes.

Losing weight and eating healthy has been a concern for Remi in the past year. She previously revealed to her followers her change in diet and exercise helped her lose more than 50 lbs.
She has gone from a size 14 to a size 6 with the addition of a consistent training schedule and meetings with her nutritionist.
