Variety notes that these 30-second non-skippable ads will be available to advertisers via their curated ads platform. YouTube Select.
YouTube has also confirmed that it is testing a new feature called Pause Experiences where ads will appear when a viewer pauses a video while watching YouTube content on TVs.
The ads come just a week after YouTube revealed it was experimenting with a new feature that would prevent users from viewing content if an ad blocker was enabled.
