Emergency services found Charlee and a 47-year-old man dead at the scene at a property in Tubbut, East Victoria, while another man of the same age and a boy, aged 13, were also injured.

A young woman who was among two people who died in a buggy accident during a family reunion has been identified.

Charlee Neveen, 13, and a 47-year-old man died after their stroller overturned on a property in Tubbut, in northeast Victoria, shortly before 11pm on Saturday.

Another 47-year-old man, believed to be Charlee’s father, was treated for minor injuries, while a 12-year-old boy was rushed to Bega Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

TO GoFundMe has stepped up to help support Charlee’s family following the tragedy.

“It’s more than we can comprehend at this time,” the page reads.

‘She was the light and sunshine in our family and to her friends and community. She brought joy and love as she went through every adventure she could find.’

Social media has been flooded with messages of support from the young woman’s heartbroken friends.

“Rest easy, I love you so much my beautiful girl,” one wrote.

Another said they would “miss Charlee so much” and that “it seems so surreal that you’re gone.”

“We all miss you so much, you were an amazing, smart girl who always made people feel happy to be around you,” they wrote.

The youngster had played in the Bairnsdale and U17 District Amateur Basketball Association winter season grand final the previous weekend.

A family gathering had been taking place on Tubbut’s sparse property, the Herald of the sun reported.

It is understood the owners do not live at the property but traveled there from another town along the New South Wales border.

Investigations into the accident remain ongoing.
