This year, Wimbledon serves a vegan version of its strawberries and cream.
Vegan cream, ice cream and sorbet are now available at the All England Club during the two-week championships.
The movement was welcomed by animal rights activists at Peta.
Director of vegan projects Dawn Carr said: & # 39; Peta urged Wimbledon to offer strawberries and vegan creams in 2017, and we are excited to make a racket about the new cruelty-free treat.

Vegan cream is not only full of flavor and friendly to animals and the environment, but also a healthier alternative for tennis enthusiasts to enjoy in the heat. & # 39;
Regular cream and ice cream are also available throughout the room.
A few years ago, Peta handed out strawberries and vegan creams to tennis fans outside of Wimbledon, with the company's outreach team also calling on the club to join.
It is estimated that tennis fans consume around 27 tonnes of strawberries and 7000 liters of cream during the tournament.
The new vegan additions to the menu are not the only animal-friendly changes.
Some players, including title defender Angelique Kerber and Caroline Wozniacki, will wear a high-tech vegan set made from recycled plastic and specially designed for Wimbledon by Stella McCartney.
