You can now use Clubcard points to pay for Brewdog pints in their bars
- Clubcard members can use points at Brewdog bars across the UK
- Each 50p voucher can be converted into £1 to spend in bars
Beer giant Brewdog has announced a partnership with Tesco Clubcard, which will allow shoppers to use pint points at its bars across Britain.
The Scottish brewery joins pubs Chef and Brewer and Hungry Horse in offering deals to Clubcard members, but Brewdog is the only one offering pints in exchange for points.
Each 50p voucher can be converted into £1 to spend at Brewdog bars, meaning you can grab a drink for 300 Clubcard points.
Every little bit helps: Clubcard members can redeem their points for beers at Brewdog bars
Customers can top up the price difference with another payment method, meaning Clubcard members could enjoy a 50 per cent reduction on pints with 150 points.
Reward codes can be used for a maximum of two alcoholic beverages (excluding beer towers) and, importantly, only when purchased with food.
If you order three drinks with your meal, you will have to pay for one of the drinks. Codes can also be used on all non-alcoholic beverages without limit.
The value of the codes can only be redeemed on food and drink, so customers will not be able to purchase Brewdog products, gift cards, bar experiences or hotel stays with their Clubcard points.
They also cannot be used in conjunction with any Brewdog offers or discounts and may only be eligible for bar dining.
Brewdog founder James Watt said: “With an existing customer base of over 21 million active Clubcard members, we are delighted to be the only restaurant partner offering pints for points.”
“Everyone is feeling the reduced cost of living, so if we can help people with the cost of our beer wherever possible, you can bet your pint we will.”
Reward codes can be used at all Brewdog bars except Edinburgh Airport, Hull, Huddersfield, Bradford and Upminster.
Customers will not be able to use Clubcard points between December 13 and 31 and in Edinburgh during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
