You can now buy a pair of slippers shaped like the iconic Australian fry chicken
The ibis slippers were launched last week by gift company Gray Lines as part of their relaunch – TV personality Abbie Chatfield posted about it on her Instagram
“We design chaotic gifts that you really can’t find anywhere else…and probably for good reason,” the company claims in their Instagram bio.
Despite no one asking for ibis slippers, they prove to be very popular, and the stock sells out quickly.
The company claims the slippers are “the best thing since sliced garlic bread” in their very quirky product description.
“Finally you can roam parks and ruin picnics in true bin chicken style with these cuddly yet terrifying slippers,” wrote the Gray Lines team.
The slippers are ‘one size fits most’ and fit people with a size between 1.80 and 1.80 meters.
Former The Bachelor star, Abbie Chatfield, shared a video of herself doing yoga in the slippers ahead of the company’s official relaunch.
“Gifted I guess, if you consider stealing your friend’s office gifted?” she wrote.
The post was inundated with comments from people who decided they needed a few quirky kicks too.
“I need these now,” one woman wrote while tagging her friend.
“These must be our new slippers in the apartment,” said another.
The slippers launched alongside a pair of ibis socks that sold out within hours

Others, reluctant to have the shoes for themselves, tagged their friends.
“This is you, completely,” one man wrote.
“You want this one,” another asked, tagging his friend.
The post has been liked more than 9,000 times.
Gray Lines currently has 22 gift items available on their website.
Their bin chicken socks sold out just hours after their relaunch, as did their cob loaf-printed socks and quirky beach towels.
