Yemen, Iran, Khashoggi murdered the talks of CEO Pompeo in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) – US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in Saudi Arabia for talks on a series of Mideast crises, supplemented by the conflicts in Syria and Yemen, threats from Iran and the Saudi response to the murder on journalist Jamal Khashoggi as the last year.

Pompeo met the Saudi king and crown prince on Monday, the last stop of a tour from the Middle East which until now was dominated by questions and concerns about the withdrawal of US troops from Syria.

In his speech in Saudi Arabia on his arrival in Riyadh at the end of Sunday, Pompeo emphasized the importance of ending the fighting in Yemen and keeping Iran under pressure.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Pompeo also made clear the importance of a credible investigation into the killing of Khashoggi in the Saudi Consulate in Turkey in October.
